Dear colleagues,
I hope that you have had a great summer and have taken a moment for yourselves to refresh and recharge for the busy fall semester ahead.
As you return to campus and gear up for the fall, I wanted to inform you about where we stand in the action plan on the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) faculty satisfaction process.
The end of last academic year marked the conclusion of this most recent three-year cycle, and we have made a lot of progress in achieving the actions we outlined when the COACHE survey results were first shared in 2020-21.
I am pleased to share with you a report that puts our progress into perspective as we ended this latest cycle. You can access the COACHE Progress Report in three ways:
- Flip Through Page-By-Page: On your computer screen, you can flip through the report (just like you would with a magazine) by going directly to this link. The link will take you to the university’s Issuu account, where you’ll find the report navigation.
- Download a PDF: You can download the report as a PDF from the COACHE website by clicking here.
- Get a Printed Copy: The report is also available as a printed document. While we have limited copies, please email us at [email protected] and we will send you a copy of the COACHE report through interoffice mail. Be sure to let us know how many copies you need.
COACHE is an iterative process, and this academic year, we begin COACHE anew. Watch your inbox for more about the new COACHE cycle this year, and make sure to return to https://provost.gsu.edu/coache/ for updates.
Sincerely,
Nicolle Parsons-Pollard, Ph.D.
Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
