U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Georgia State Graduate Programs
The Graduate School at Georgia State University earned recognition for several of its programs in the latest U.S. News & World Report survey of “Best Graduate Schools.”
Georgia State’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies retained its reputation for excellence in this year’s rankings. It held strong at No. 16 among public affairs colleges in the U.S. and maintained several top 10 graduate program rankings, including the No. 3 urban policy program, No. 5 public finance and budgeting program, No. 6 nonprofit management program and No. 9 local government management program.
The College of Education and Human Development received special acclaim for its curriculum and instruction degree, debuting as a top-30 program nationally. Its elementary teacher education program maintained a ranking among the nation’s top 25.
The Georgia State College of Law’s healthcare law program ranks among the top five for the seventh consecutive year, currently holding the No. 3 spot. Its part-time law program remained in the top 25, at No. 21.
The J. Mack Robinson College of Business made impressive gains. It maintained a top-10 ranking for its well-regarded graduate program in information systems, and its real estate and analytics programs each debuted in the top 15 among public universities, landing at No. 10 and No. 11, respectively. Robinson’s healthcare management program ranked No. 21 in the nation, rising an impressive 11 spots from last year, and was also peer-ranked No. 1 in Georgia. Its part-time MBA program remained in the top 25 among public universities.
The School of Public Health rose three spots to No. 26 among all public health schools nationally, and now ranks No. 1 among those at public universities in Georgia, highlighting the school’s dedication to protecting and improving the health of individuals and their communities.
Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Nicolle Parsons-Pollard applauded The Graduate School’s efforts, stating, “The strength of our graduate programs reflects the collaborative efforts of our faculty, staff and students, whose dedication continues to elevate Georgia State’s reputation for excellence. These rankings highlight our growing national influence in graduate education, and as we expand our programs and research initiatives, we remain committed to setting new benchmarks for academic achievement.”
