DEADLINE EXTENDED – Call for Applications: Mentoring Leader and Internal Program Evaluator Positions with ADVANCE-IMPACT at Georgia State
The ADVANCE-IMPACT team is seeking Georgia State University faculty or staff members to fulfill two exciting opportunities in support of women faculty in STEM. Supported by the National Science Foundation, the ADVANCE-IMPACT grant’s (Intersectionality and Mentoring in the Professoriate for Advancement, Community and Transformation) grant is to adapt and implement programs and initiatives at the university aimed at increasing the number of women, particularly women from underrepresented minority (URM) backgrounds, who are recruited, promoted, and retained in STEM tenure track positions and in leadership positions at GSU.
The application deadline for both positions has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18.
The leader of ADVANCE-IMPACT’s mentoring Aim will oversee implementation of mentoring initiatives for early, mid- and later career faculty at Georgia State. This individual will hold primary responsibility for all the mentoring activities supported by the ADVANCE-IMPACT grant.
The internal evaluator will hold primary responsibility for evaluating all activities supported by the ADVANCE-IMPACT grant, including activity tracking, data collection, evaluations of all workshops and trainings, and seeking IRB approval for all human subjects-related activities.
