University Research Funding Sets Record for Third Year in a Row
Georgia State University’s research community has set a new funding record for the third year in a row, with $224.72 million in grants earned in fiscal year 2023. The university has now topped $125 million in grants each of the past five years.
A total of 1,351 projects were funded over the course of the year, and 20 investigators earned awards of $1 million or more. Of those 20, more than half are women.
