Dr. Timothy Denning Appointed Vice President for Research and Economic Development Effective Nov. 2
Dr. Timothy Denning, associate director of the Institute for Biomedical Sciences (IBMS), will become Georgia State’s vice president for research and economic development, effective Nov. 2.
He succeeds Dr. Michael Eriksen, who has served as interim vice president for research and economic development since the departure of former vice president James Weyhenmeyer in 2019. Dr. Eriksen, an internationally renowned scholar and leader in public health, will return to his faculty role in the Georgia State School of Public Health.
